This week, Jobs2Careers announced that on Monday, December 15, 2014, the start-up will open the doors to its new 13,000-square-foot headquarters, becoming the first tenant in the Champion Office Project by the Endeavor Real Estate Group.
The brand new, custom designed office is part of the 220,600-square-foot campus located at the northwest corner of RM 2222 and Capital of Texas Highway (Loop 360). Built as a result of the region’s healthy job market, particularly in the tech sector, Jobs2Careers will continue to promote Austin’s economic growth by creating new employment opportunities. The job search engine has signed a six-year lease on the space.
“This office space has been a goal for Bruce [Ge, Founder and CEO] and the company officers since they began thinking about moving the company to Austin in early 2013,” states Elly Besser, Executive Assistant to the CEO and internal project lead. “It has taken two years of brainstorming, planning and negotiating, and we are all thrilled with the results. The thoughtfully designed space will dramatically improve how we are able to work as a team and competitively recruit.”
Michael Venman, Sales Manager of Jobs2Careers, adds, “We are very much looking forward to our company’s growth throughout 2015 and will be actively recruiting recent graduates and experienced salespeople to join our team.” The 2015 recruitment plan for Jobs2Careers includes an initial round of hiring within three months of the move, more than doubling the sales department by Q4, reaching the new office’s full capacity within twelve to eighteen months and introducing a new internship program beginning in the summer of 2015.
Jobs2Careers will be holding a private ribbon cutting ceremony during the week of their office opening. During the event, Ge will acknowledge major parties involved in the planning and execution of the space, including Patrick Ley of ECR, the Lauckgroup, Tony Proctor of the LML Group and Burt Watts Industries.
