Ensuring candidates are well-suited for a particular position has become more than verifying education and assessing prior work experience.

But an application should pique the interest of a hiring manager, not answer all the questions you’re going to re-ask during an interview. Because the entire hiring process has become just that, a lengthy process—the application to apply for a job shouldn’t add to that length.
