Jobs2Careers Announced as One of Austin Business Journal’s 2014 Best Places To Work

Today, The Austin Business Journal announced its list of 2014 Best Places to Work in Central Texas presented by MassMutual Southwest – and Jobs2Careers is happy to announce that we are included in the Small Business Category (21-50 employees)!
The 2014 Best Places to Work in Central Texas companies have the best climate, team atmosphere, benefits and most importantly, engaged employees. Specific rankings will be revealed in the micro, small, medium and large categories at an awards luncheon next month.

To determine the listings, The Austin Business Journal uses an external firm to confidentially survey company employees. The findings are indicative of high employee satisfaction and aneffective company culture. To be included is a great honor for Jobs2Careers.

Founded in 2010 with a “Best in Breed” mentality, Jobs2Careers strives to not only provide the best experience possible for its clients and users, but also for its employees. This experience includes company-sponsored health insurance, catered lunches, stocked kitchen, generous holiday/PTO, adventurous company outings and more.

When asked about the motivation behind creating this company culture, CEO Bruce Ge has a simple explanation: do the right things and treat your employees how you would like or have been treated.

“I never really allocated PR budget to tell the world that Jobs2Careers is the best place to work. I just focused on doing the right things – things that are considered valuable, transparent and sustainable. I didn’t design any wonderful benefit packages; I just treat my employees in the same way Siebel Systems treated me 15 years ago.”
