These 17 #RecruitingFails Should Be On Your “What Not to Do” List

by on

We know none of the recruiters in our audience are guilty of any of the following, but we wanted to share just in case (and for a laugh). #recruitingfails

When you might need to look at a map...

When you might need to switch phone providers...

When you wish you’d grabbed that freebie hand sanitizer...

When it might be time to update your job titles…

When you might consider customizing your outreach…  And researching your potential candidates thoroughly…  And when you might consider referencing a candidate’s name…  And maybe check the spelling too…  And then check your autofill fields… When your quirky response falls flat…  When you might be trying a little too hard to attract the millennials…  When you need to double check the source…  When you might need to rethink a cold call strategy... Or maybe reconsider a cold call strategy altogether…  When you missed a really important typo…  When you realize that rejection might not be the end of the professional relationship…  You’re going to want to proofread your sign...

Know of any really good #recruitingfails (even if they’re yours and you want to share what you learned)? Leave them in the comments!
